Raxim Networks currently utilizes the renowned Softlayer network and datacenter. Softlayer allows us to control every aspect of our hosting operation, wheter it is rDNS records, switch ports, server power (for restarting in the unlikely event of a crash), and console services to allow us to troubleshoot any problem without involving a datacenter technician. This allows us to get more done in a smaller amount of time and keep away potential downtime.

The Softlayer facility is located in one of the biggest telecom hotels, INFOMART, in downtown Dallas, Texas. Softlayer's datacenter features 6000amps of 48volt input power, fully backed by UPS and generator systems, redundant Liebert 30 Ton HVAC units, a pre-action dry pipe fire supression system, security access badges, and a digital security video survelliance system. With the power, redundancy, and security of the Softlayer datacenter behind us, you can rest assured that your website will remain online, and that your data will be secure with Raxim Networks.

In addition to utilizing their datacenter, Raxim Networks utilizes the Softlayer network for all our hosting servers. The Softlayer network features five premium quality providers, including Savvis, Global Crossing, and NTT Communications/Verio, AboveNet, and Internap. In addition to a premium lineup of providers, three of which are Tier-1 carriers, the network also features Cisco Guard and Tipping Point DDOS Protection, and the Arbor Peakflow and Atlas Globe Traffic analyzers, which help to detect network anomalies. In addition, the entire network is gigabit, and Softlayer has multiple 10gbps uplinks, giving the network plenty of bandwidth and ensuring everybody will receive the best performance possible.
